Home

Welcome to our travel log of our trip around Australia.  No doubt you’ll become so intrigued with our progress that you’ll be compelled to make this site your home-page, as the excitement, drama, suspense and overall fascination with our little holiday will be too much for you to risk missing.

For all those people telling me to get a haircut:

If your Dad's got no beard, you've got 2 Mums :)

Knew you’d work it out eventually :)

Would have loved to go to the G for Boxing Day, unfortunately didn’t make it. Was just thinking of you today, as we’re in Eden for a few days to see in the New Year. Both of you take care, and kick back and have a few prawns and a beer for me. By the way – $42/kg for QLD prawns in Blairgowrie – bit of a shock for me!

      • Gavin says:

Everything in Blairgowrie is twice the price as anywhere else. lol. I think a lot of the traders down there think that if you can afford to buy a house down there, then you will pay what they ask – I don’t think they think too much about the tourists.

When you get back down here, I’ll bring over some prawns I have left from Chrissy that I got from Ean in Darwin – they are very tasty.

Hope you had a safe and enjoyable Chrissy and new year – We’ll catch up with you all when you are back in Vic.

        Cheers – Gavin & Yvonne

        • Ryan says:

Totally – spotted $59/kg flathead fillets yesterday!! Thankfully there’s a Safeway down the road for us tight-arse nomads!

  16. Elise says:

  17. doug and donna says:

hope guys have a great time going across to across to tassy. It was great to see u last week ranga,

  18. Nicole Piper says:

Had a fantastic time with you all in Blairgowrie. I am always happy to share that beautiful place with any who venture that way. Having the bay and the back beach so close to each other is such as treat. The rugged coastline so spectacular. As always the living museum of 70 William Rd rocks on for another Christmas. Hope you are enjoying Tassie. I am sure the weather is better there than here, it is pouring!

    • Ness says:

As did we. As always, had fun catching up. Blairgowrie is a special place. I love it not only for all the things you mentioned, but it was also one of the first places Ryan took me when we were first dating all those moons ago. Tassie weather has been brilliant so far. xx

ha Well at the hearing of the words from vanessa – unless Ryan gets a job we will have to split this popsicle stand I am saddened. I was hoping you would be on the road for ages oh well as long as you enjoyed it all that the main thing
